Seminario: Terremoti e onde radio in ELF e VLF

Giovedì 1 febbraio 2018 in Sezione ARI a Perugia, si è tenuto l'ottavo di una serie di mini seminari su vari argomenti di interesse radioamatoriale.

L'Ing. Cristiano Fidani, ha illustrato agli amici radioamatori intervenuti alla serata, gli strumenti ed i dati raccolti dalla Rete elettromagnetica dell'Italia Centrale, attiva da ormai 10 anni nella nostra regione.

Da circa 10 anni è attiva nelle nostre regioni la Rete Elettromagnetica dell'Italia Centrale. Lo scopo di questo esperimento è verificare se qualche attività elettrica particolare è associata ai fenomeni sismici. L'attività sismica dell'anno scorso ha confermato che un genere di oscillazioni del campo elettrico nella banda ELF è stato osservato in occasione del terremoto di Norcia, dopo essere stato osservato anche in occasione degli eventi di L'Aquila del 2009 e di Modena del 2012. Anche per il campo magnetico è stato osservato un aumento dell'attività impulsiva prima degli eventi di Norcia e Montereale, e dopo essere stato osservato ancora in occasione dell'evento aquilano.....
