I0NAA - first EME QSO 23cm from Assisi (PG) with his new 5mt dish

I0NAA, Mario, socio di ARI PG, ha ufficialmente attivato la parabola di 5 metri di diametro, installata presso il QTH di Assisi (PG). Mario ci informa con soddisfazione che finalmente, dopo tanti mesi di duro lavoro, è riuscito ad effettuare i primi QSO EME in 23cm, con le seguenti condizioni:

Antenna : 5mt dish con W2IMU feeder
Preamp :  G4DDK
RTX :       Flex1500
Transverter  : DB6NT TR 1296 H-28 s ( 18w max )   

il rumore solare (sun noise) misurato, e' stato di circa 15.5db verso i 17.9 teorici stimati con il sistema di VK3UM. Mario è anche riuscito a "vedere" sullo schermo del PC, l'eco con 3 watt all'uscita del transverter (...seguito da 20m di cavo Ecoflex !!!) ...Ancora qualche cosa da migliorare, ma si è sicuramente sulla buona strada !!!

...Un risultato veramente eccezionale, a coronamento di un lavoro ed un impegno fuori dal comune...!!!
