Regolamento Diploma dei Quadratoni     

In riferimento ai primi 4 caratteri del WW Locator, o alle prime lettere dell'EU Locator, la sezione ARI di Perugia ha istituito i seguenti "Diplomi dei Quadratoni" "Squares Award"

I Diplomi verranno rilasciati agli OM muniti di regolare Autorizzazione radioamatoriale che dimostreranno di aver stabilito i seguenti QSO bilaterali con conferma dei relativi quadratoni: 

  • "6m Squares Award": (Richiesti almeno quaranta Quadratoniconfermati)
  • "2m Squares Award": (Richiesti invece almeno trentaQuadratoni confermati)
  • "70cm Squares Award": (Richiesti invece almeno quindiciQuadratoni confermati)
  • "23cm Squares Award": (Richiesti infine almeno sette Quadratoni confermati). 

I diplomi vengono rilasciati in due sezioni: a) stazioni fisse b)stazioni portatili. Le stazioni portatili dovranno aver effettuato tutti i collegamenti dalla stessa call-area. Si possono ottenere più diplomi come portatili da diverse call-area. 

Sono considerati validi i collegamenti effettuati via Tropo, E-Sporadico, FAI, Meteor Scatter, Aurora, TEP e con qualsiasi altro tipo di propagazione. Non sono validi i QSO effettuati via EME o tramite ripetitori attivi. 

Coloro che hanno ottenuto il diploma base possono richiedere avanzamenti. Per ogni 10 quadratoni successivi ( per i 6m e i 2m )  sarà rilasciato un apposito bollino da applicare al diploma (avanzamenti ogni 2 nuovi quadratoni in 70cm e ogni nuovo quadratone in 23cm). 

Le QSL dovranno riportare il QTH Locator delle stazioni collegate e non dovranno presentare aggiunte o correzioni, pena l'invalidità delle stesse ai fini del diploma. Saranno ritenute valide anche le QSL in cui, in luogo del locator, sia indicata chiaramente e con precisione la località dalla quale sono avvenute le trasmissioni. In caso di ripetute irregolarità, ad insindacabile giudizio dell'apposita commissione, il diploma potrà essere non concesso o revocato, con conseguente cancellazione dalla classifica. 

Sono validi i QSO effettuati con stazioni "/m" o "/mm", purché siano rigorosamente rispettate le condizioni di cui al comma n.4. 

Per il rilascio del diploma, inviare le QSL originali, riepilogate in un estratto log, sottoscritto dal richiedente, oppure fotocopia delle stesse, fronte/retro (l'Award Manager si riserva di poter richiedere in qualsiasi momento gli originali), in questo caso l'estratto log dovrà essere controfirmato da due OM o dal Presidente di Sezione. La richiesta, completa come sopra, dovrà essere inviata insieme a 5,00 a titolo di parziale rimborso spese a:

Se le QSL sono state inviate in originale, è richiesto anche l'invio di una somma sufficiente alla restituzione delle stesse al proprio indirizzo; Per la richiesta degli avvanzamenti inviare solo SASE o busta preaffrancata. 

I possessori del diploma potranno usare la sigla "...... S.A.(banda) Squares Award" sulle QSL e nella corrispondenza.

Squares Award Rules

With reference to WW Locator and EU Locator assignement ARI Section of Perugia has issued the following Squares Awards:

 

6m Squares Award (required a minimum of 40 confirmed squares) 

2m Squares Award (required a minimum of 30 confirmed squares)  

70 cm Squares Award (required a minimum of 15 confirmed squares) 

23cm Squares Award (required a minimum of 7 confirmed squares)

 

There are two categories of Awards: Fixed Station and Mobile Station (for this last all contacts must be runned from the same call-area). Licensed Amateur Radio can submit application form and their QSL cards paying attention to the following rules: 

QSL Cards must include: a. Callsigns of both stations b. Date of QSO c. Time of QSO (UTC preferred) d. Band or Frequency of QSO e. Mode of QSO f. RST g. QTH of the station confirming (first four characters of WW Locator or first letters of EU Locator,or as alternative the exact name of trasmission locality). 

With the exception of the use of EME or active repeaters, all QSO through Tropo,E-Sporadic,FAI,Meteor Scatter,Aurora,TEP and any other type of propagation are considered valid. 

Contacts with stations “/m” or “/mm” are also valid QSO,but the relative QSL card must respect the rule of previous point “g” at paragraph n.1. 

Any altered or forged (or deeply irregular) confirmations submitted by an applicant for Award credit may result in permanent disqualification. 

QSL Cards not including the information above may be returned to the applicant for replacement, and not credited towards the Award. 

The dispatch of original QSL cards is not strictly indispensable and can be replaced by their front/back photocopy: Award Manager reserves himself the right to request originals in any moment. 

Free endorsement stickers can be request for any Award (6m S.A and 2m S.A.: any 10 squares update - 70cm S.A.: any 2 squares update – 23cm S.A.: each square update): a SASE is strictly recommended. 

Application form (containing personal data,call sign,address and required Award) and QSL cards (or its photocopy) must be accompanied by an extract Log signed from applicant and countersigned from two local OM or QSL Manager; moreover a fee of € 5,00 for each Award (and adequate return postage if original QSL cards are submitted) must be included.
