Fonte: Umbria24 - È stato il keniano Simon Tibet Loitanyang ad aggiudicarsi l’edizione numero 38 della Grifonissima, che si è corsa domenica mattina a Perugia. L’atleta ha chiuso i 10,4 km con un tempo di 32 minuti e 51 secondi, seguito a cinque secondi dal compagno di squadra (entrambi corrono per la Tx Fitness) Riccardo Passeri. Terzo, a oltre un minuto, l’italiano Yasin El Khalil. In campo femminile a trionfare è stata Cassandra Ulivieri, della squadra G.S. Il Fiorino, con il tempo di 39 minuti e 46 secondi. Il resto del podio è occupato da due atlete della Avis Perugia, ovvero Silvia Tamburi e (40 minuti e 3 secondi) e Paola Garinei (40 minuti e 21 secondi).  UOMINI: LA CLASSIFICA    DONNE: LA CLASSIFICA

 Il battesimo della pista Oltre ai 605 atleti iscritti al percorso competitivo, sono state alcune migliaia le persone che, correndo o passeggiando con amici, bambini oppure piccoli amici a quattro zampe, hanno deciso di partecipare. Anche quest’anno sono state coinvolte le scuole e in totale allo start di Corso Vannucci c’erano oltre duemila persone. Quella di domenica è la prima edizione autunnale della celebre corsa, che di solito si tiene a maggio; lo spostamento, quest’anno, è stato dovuto al prolungarsi dei lavori di rifacimento del Santa Giuliana, storica sede di arrivo della manifestazione. La Grifonissima ha tenuto così a battesimo la nuova pista di atletica, bella a vedersi ma che soprattutto ha restituito buone sensazioni agli atleti.

Leo c’è Tra i tanti partecipanti anche Leo Cenci con la sua associazione Avanti tutta, che ha chiuso in 52 minuti e 2 secondi. «Ho partecipato con estremo piacere a questa gara che ormai è storica e bella – ha detto – e ringrazio Unicredit ed in particolar modo Gianluca Pisello – prosegue Leo – per aver preso a cuore questa corsa che va aldilà della semplice competizione agonistica. Ho visto, infatti, tanti amici a 4 zampe camminare, tante famiglie e bambini animare il centro storico della città. La Grifonissima è un momento di aggregazione, che trasmette un messaggio corretto sugli stili di vita da tenere. Stare bene non vuol dire solo correre ma anche camminare, fare nuove amicizie, stare insieme e all’aria aperta. È una mezza giornata non solo di sport ma anche di aggregazione, condivisione e divertimento. Ci sono tutti gli elementi per continuare ad organizzarla». Anche quest’anno l’associazione ha collaborato con la Grifonissima impiegando i suoi volontari nel punto ristoro di piazza Grimana e presenziando con uno stand vicino al palco dove si è tenuta la festa e le premiazioni della corsa. Per quanto riguarda Llattività di Avanti tutta, giovedì 27 alle ore 11.30 Cenci inaugurerà il restyling della sala d’attesa, situata tra i reparti di oncologia medica e medicina interna dell’ospedale Santa Maria della Misericordia di Perugia.

Il servizio di comunicazione radio, è stato assicurato dai Radioamatori della Sezione ARI di Perugia, che con consumata e ormai pluriennale esperienza, ha gestito i contatti dalle postazioni (fisse e mobili lungo il percorso di gara), con la sala radio, allestita presso lo Stadio di Santa Giuliana.
