Volunteer Exercise 2014 

Esercitazione di Protezione Civile a Marsciano (PG)

E' terminata nel pomeriggio di domenica scorsa l'esercitazione di Protezione Civile, denominata  "Volunteer Exercise 2014", durante la quale si sono simulati interventi di soccorso a fronte di un sisma nel territorio del Comune di Marsciano (PG).  Oltre 200, i volontari delle diverse Associazioni e Gruppi Comunali, che hanno partecipato, con inizio delle attività all'alba di venerdì 9 maggio e per tutto il week-end.

L' A.R.I.- R.E. è stata rappresentata da ben otto radioamatori della Sezione di Perugia: I0KWX  Vincenzo Belloni, I0YHD Remo Pagnotta, IK0AZG Gianni Madruzza, IK0UTM Vanni Chioccoloni, IK0HCT Giancarlo Truffarelli, IW0RUM Claudio Rugini, IZ0VZR Maurizio Parbuono e IZ0ZGV Daniele Giammetti, che hanno dimostrato l'efficienza delle loro apparecchiature e la professionalità degli operatori, mantenendo i collegamenti tra la sala radio allestita in una tenda nel campo base e le diverse aree del territorio dove si svolgevano le varie attività di soccorso.

Le diverse squadre di volontari hanno operato su diversi scenari, svolgendo diverse specifiche attività: allestimento di due tendopoli con tende PI88, realizzazione ed utilizzo di un ponte tibetano sopra un corso d'acqua, intervento con idrovora per prosciugamento di un sottopasso allagato, svuotamento con idrovora di uno scantinato di una abitazione, recupero materiali sul fiume con verricelli e carrucole e ricerca di persone disperse con l'aiuto di Gruppi Cinofili.

Al termine tutti i Volontari, raggruppati nel campo base, sono stati ringraziati ed elogiati dalle Autorità Comunali e Regionali con l'intervento finale della Presidente della nostra Ragione, Katiuscia Marini. 

E' doveroso da parte mia ringraziare i nostri operatori radio per la bella ed apprezzata impressione suscitata nei dirigenti della Protezione Civile.
