La Sezione, come molti di voi sapranno, è iscritta alla ARRL e dispone in sede della rivista QST Magazine, fonte di molte notizie ed articoli tecnici, compresi, questo mese, articoli su Microcomputer e Radioamatori, una accoppiata eccellente... (io direi proprio di sì!)
Allora, per incentivare l'interesse anche di gruppo, vorrei con questo breve scritto e due foto far conoscere a tutti i Soci che QST di Aprile 2014 contiene vari articoli interessanti che potranno costituire valido argomento di discussione tecnica, di iniziative di realizzazione, anche in gruppo sperimentale o singolarmente e così ravvivare l'interesse e la voglia di valutare insieme cosa si muove nel nostro mondo della radio e delle attrezzature.

Un argomento che si può prendere ad esempio, è il seguente:

Antenna adatta al DX da montare su terreno o giardino anche di piccole spaziature (non grande!)
La  AS-SAL-20 Shared Apex Loop Array una antenna ricevente di 40 foot (13 metri) di diametro alla base - otto direzioni preferenziali selezionabili - unico cavo coassiale per la linea di alimentazione sia per la  funzione di ricezione e sia per il controllo - quattro loop filari identici sostenuti da un palo in materiale non conduttore - ogni loop è alimentato attraverso un accoppiatore in ferrite e comandato da unità di commutazione montato alla base del mast di sostegno e con pre-amplificatore a basso rumore entro contenuto - Questa AS-SAL-20 si utilizza per ricezione nelle bande 160-80-40 metri, con selezione della direzione preferenziale di ascolto ! Non male per le bande cosidette basse hi ! I nostri Dxers la conoscono certamente, ma molti Soci forse no! - QST di Aprile 2014 ... pubblica una ampia recensione di K9LA con dati completi e misurazioni interessanti. Si possono fare copie dell'articolo per chi sarà intressato a sperimentarne la possibile realizzazione. Il problema saranno i barilotti di accordo e il box di controllo. I più esperti in Sezione potranno cercare soluzioni per realizzarli... altrimenti si potrebbe costituire un gruppo di acquisto (h)i alla Array Solution USA!

Vorrei farvi notare che il 28.3.2014 ho pubblicato sul mio G+ la copertina di QST ed il suo titolo principale: ad oggi 31.3.2014 ben 1880 visite lo hanno interessato da tutto il mondo... non male! ...poi quello dell'antenna con 1536 visite (Source: Google+ Dettagli foto) !
